Topic: Final Fantasy X-2 Kim style ^_^
S.O.C.: "Bi-Kanerusabaku" from The Final Fantasy X-2 OST Disc 1

Yupe pulled a Peter on this one. I have, what I a beileve to be, all the music for FInal Fantasy X-2 and the game hasn't even come out in this neck of the woods. I like it muchly. The game fascianates me. Of course what got me hooked was the Real Emotion video. I mean Dude...Yuna moved like Ayu-I was hooked simple as that. From there it was the lyrics of 1000 Words. I'm curious with this Final Fantasy really. I mean just because it breaks so many rules in the realm of die hard Final Fantasy doctorine. Number one there are no Summons/Guardian Forces/Aeons/ whatever you know Shiva and Company as. That right there is a little hmm. Next, the characters can be anything from warrior class to theif, to black mage, to what have you. I myself...am not a lover of this too much..it reminds me of the draw feature from 8 I think the best class system lives in FF9(this said baised on playing what I call new school FF--7,8,9,and 10). In 9 Zidane was a thief and would forever be a theif/warrior. Garnet was a whitemage/summoner person and Vivi was the black mage(and a FINE one at that). I myself am truly interested in the costumes ^-^. Then comes the fact that in one state the lovely ladies of X-2 assume at some juncture a somewhat...Aeon-iean forms that makes them have parts that must be destryed instead of just direct hit system. And lastly and most imporantly to me (scold me, mock me, belittle me, have your field day but this is what got me to stay with the game after the Ayumi-like video ended) It's an all female cast and the lead girl is out to get her man back! Heck yeah! With Guns no less. Call me simple I mean I did like PE (due to Aya and her guns--I have a weekness for A Woman with a gun and a good control system--thus excluding Tomb Raider which I hated to no end I sold the one game I had for $17 and yes I know Yuna is somewhat a copy of Laura but you know what...it's Yuna in my eyes I guess I choose to ignore the Croft thing) but I like it. I'm a little tired of the same old lead boy searching for a girl you know...which is one of the basic plots of most video games...the other being the end of the world...or finding out about your past. So yeah Yuna and her guns and looking for Tidus is cool by me. Not enough games have girl heros....what like Threads of Fate, Final Fantasy 5 or 6 (don't jump me I don't know which one it is so I put both), Rhadsody, Legends of Mania, Tomb Raider, PE, PE2, any others? I can't remember to tell the truth. Anyway yeah but you see what I'm saying right? I get tired of being a boy all the time....all these freakin damsisl in distress man...

I really like Yuna....I mean most people hate her. I actually paid her no mind until Peter said one day about 2 years ago that he was going to make me a Yuna costume because I reminded him of her...or perhaps it was simply to compiment his own Seymour outfit or perhaps a little of both to tell the truth it escapes me right now. Anyway, so when I played the game I played with a lot of attention to Yuna. At first Lord I hated her to no end she was so soft spoken and timid and just ARGH you know? But as the game passed....something just clicked in my head. I'm not sure what but I really liked her. In my eyes Yuna was much like the under appreciated Relena Peacecraft of the Gundam Wing world. Most people write them off on the first go because they don't go out there guns blazing but in truth they're strong characters. Yuna was simply quiet is all, but she had a lot of grit a lot of determination. Whatever she was trying to do by God it would get done for whatever reason. I liked her character even if she was simple and naive at times but aren't we all? I also liked Rikku for everyone's information. I know that may seem unfathomable but...the blasted girl was by my standard...cute. Why I couldn't tell you but I think...perhaps if you like small children...you like Rikku.

As for Yuna's Magical Hot Pants (you all saw it comming!) I have little to say. I would rather have Yuna in mini shirts that are hardly more than extended panties than have Yuna stacked and having her clevage exposed (i.e. Lulu--who was a cool character by all standards but after seeing Peter's figure of her I realized...just how big those things were--they didn't look nearly that big in the game...well in the words of Peter quiet some time ago on a mall hop--"It's black magic!") Of course that opinon is for me and my small bust complex hehe which I'm getting over slowly but still it's nice to see a non-stacked anime/gaming heroine. Like Lena from Slayers...anywho!!!

So now I anxioiusly count down the days until FFX-2 release, scrap to gether my cash to buy my 3rd PS2 Game(that's right I only have 2 FFX and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Libery) and try to figure out how to make "Tiny Bees" out of cardboard and crayon. Hehe I ask thee do not hate on Yuna for her Hot Pants cheer for her because she's packin heat! HEhe....night Everyone!

Kim
